I'm new to this amazing site, and I would like to enter some of the challenges. But to do this I need to add a default camera. The problem is that my camera is not listed. It is the new Sony NEX-3 that recently replaced my old Canon gear. Is there a way to 'add' another camera to the list, or do I simply need to choose another (and incorrect) camera??

If you can upload an image of the camera, that will also be helpful to them. Both times I've requested a gear addition, I provided an image and the new gear was in the database within a couple of hours.
The NEX-3 is Sony's new EVIL (Electronic Viewfinder Interchangeable Lens) camera, similar to the Micro 4/3 cameras, isn't it? Looks pretty cool. How do you like it?
