I've just shown these two photos to a couple of photographer friends, so I figured I'd bring them to the fore again for other DPCers to enjoy.
Feel free to share a couple of your own favorites. No rules, no stress. :)
The only print I've ever bought from DPC, by Melethia:
The second print I'd buy if I were in the market for another, by BAMartin

A great example of why average scores don't matter as much as people think. These two images connected with you strongly and that's what counts. Both of them are full of positive emotion. I can see why you would want them on your wall. |

Looking through my FAVs, these two stand out for me:
by roz; I think its a great portrait, but it has symbolism for me, a beautiful woman and the roses (a red rose...)
by choltmeier; a great character study in my opinion... |

From among many in my favourites I am going to choose thisone -
and and
These are images that I remember encountering and being really struck by
also and
It is very noticebale that most of the pictures in this thread are among lower scorers (where they are challenge photos)
Is this because they are emotion shots, mostly shots of what I think of as small quotidian miracles, which will tend to do less well on dpc but will create deeper reactions among the people for whom they have resonance ?
