I might try to sneak by the camera shop today and buy my first filter. :) I seriously need to expand my supplies. Hopefully we'll get a few clouds around here. My skyscape pictures have just been big, blue rectangles all week. Great for hanging out, not so great for photographing. Keeping my fingers crossed that I can shoot today! |

Yesterday I shot this of the World Trade Center site showing the two footprint memorials from above.
Shortly after both towers opened and the plaza was completed, I shot this from below.

I didn't get to shoot any at all today, so here is another from the Glades trip last weekend. I was hand holding, so I didn't get to stop down the aperture and get the DOF that I wanted for this.

Buzzards. It would be a tough job to have to work on this tower.

I am really loving this side challenge. It's really forcing me to learn about my camera. I haven't had much time to shoot during the past few days, but here are a couple I snapped this evening.
My girls leaving me in the dust on our 'walk' this evening.
I had to head over to church tonight, so I took this before heading in. The moon was off to the right of this shot, but I couldn't get it in the frame and have it look right in the short amount of time I had. :( |

Tree. How amazing that contrast here is a lot better under the sun than inside a building or under cloudy weather!? |

I'm gonna give this a try. I don't take too many B&W photos but something I will consider doing more to get a better feel for it.

Like this a lot. Great bw as well as essence of fine dog. |

It's getting very easy to keep up with commenting on this thread. I had to hunt it up in the archives because no one's posted here today until now.
