When a photo of mine gets a validation request in-challenge, I'm always curious what challenge rule someone thinks it may have violated. Much of the time I can make a reasonable guess at it, but there have been some cases where I just don't have ANY idea. Of course we only find out for certain if it is DQ'd. Would it be possible to be told along with the "you've been validated" e-mail what someone questioned? No need to say who questioned it, that would cause trouble. Just enough info to appease ones curiosity.

I'm pretty sure this has been suggested a few times before. I agree, it would be nice to know what someone thought. |

No, I tried to turn water into wine this time. Actually, I didn't get a validation request on anything since my military entry. It was something I have been meaning to ask and when someone else mentioned to me they recieved a validation message, I thought I'd finally ask.

Sorry, but that information is classified.
So, check with wikileaks by the end of the week. |

I have asked more than once. Maybe you can get it fixed, Steve. |

I'll 2nd or 3rd this. I found each of my validations to be a black hole filled with no information. If I recall correctly one of them (my only ribbon) took about 3 weeks and I never found out if there was a borderline issue that had the SC perplexed for weeks or if it just took 3 weeks to rubber stamp "verified" and send me an email. |

i've gotten two validation requests, one for a yellow that took a couple of weeks to get DQ'd and an honorable mention. Never been asked during voting. Isn't it standard procedure to be validated if you are top 10? |

If you're curious as to the original request reason, you can always just ask afterwards... :)

I have had to submit for validation on 11/08, 11/10, and last night/this morning (12/03). I still have not received notification of validation on either of the November shots...

Both of those were validated, on 13th and 14th November respectively, and you should have received email notification for both.

I didn't know I could do that. Thanks. In the forum, a PM to a SC member, or in a help section ticket?

Tickets are best, since more SC will see it that way.
