which 3 lenses that is a must have for you? I will go first.
Nikon 35mm F1.8
Nikon 85mm F1.4
Nikon 70-200mm F2.8
If I had a FF camera my top 3 lenses will be diff.

We did this a month ago didn't we?
Although I'm never really sure which three to choose...
1. 15-85 EF-s IS - This thing is massively useful and great quality, clearly this is a must for my kit..
2. 100=400L IS - This beast complements the 15-85 so well that there's little doubt it will always be in the bag...
3. ?? This is where I become unsure about my choices... I'd like to say my 85 f/1.8 is an important lens for low-light conditions, and it is, but there is also the 100mm f/2.8 macro lens, which is absolutely awesome - even if it is a little slower - it does 1-1 macro, which is also really important to me.. Sooooooo.. hmm... I guess I'd have to choose the 100mm f/2.8 macro, simply because of the wonderful versatility... |

I have the 70-200mm, and it was the first lens I bought (aside from the kit lens)... but now I rarely use it.
My must three:
Nikon 60mm 2.8 Macro
Nikkor 14-24mm f2.8
Nikkon 24-70mm f2.8 (yet to be purchased) |

Olympus 14-35mm f/2.0, 35-100mm f/2.0
Leica 25mm f/1.4
I've used all 3 lenses off & on this past year and they're simply amazing. If I were to add a fourth it would possibly be the 150mm f/2.0 from Olympus or the Samyang 85mm |
