have you ever wondered why the spot you are trying to clone or heal won't disappear because it's on your actual monitor!?
On a side note, I wish I could spot heal my monitor's spots. |

In the old days, Sony CRT monitors (and Apple branded monitors used Sony parts) had horizontal lines through the screen 1/3 from the top and 1/3 from the bottom. I can't tell you how many times I thougth that was a scanning error and tried to edit it out! ;-) |

My NEC Multisync FP1355 has those! I always thought they were unique to my monitor. |

On of my early jobs in IT was doing warranty repairs on home computers, I was always there for something else like a CDROM or HDD or something, but they would always ask if the monitor was faulty because of the two black lines, and when I tried to explain that it was part of the design they were outraged, fortunately not at me though, usually at their reseller who oversold this "wonderful" monitor. |
