No, I'm not Australian but I love the greeting.
New here, obviously just feeling my way around rather blindly. I think I must be missing a few brain cells though because trying to figure out how to even edit my profile is making me feel like a protozoa. No offense to protozoan...
I keep telling my friends I'm not a photographer, I'm a Canon owner but they never listen. I joined the site because the challenges seem like just the thing to get my creative juices flowing again when I seem to stagnate; winter is a prime stagnation season for me here in the Midwest. |

Welcome to the asylum! The challenges are a great way to exercise your talent. Just keep in mind that the voting is not the same as submitting to a panel of judges. A less than stellar score does not mean your image is bad. Also the site attracts people from around the world, so cultural differences come into play as well.
An average score here is usually for a photo that will amaze your friends.
Most importantly, have FUN!

Welcome,
I just joined yesterday after being a lurker for countless hours and visits. I look forward seeing your work; knowing that you are a fellow Canon owner i know your photos are going to be sublime. |

G'day from a down under member. Your statement rings true of me as well but regardless, welcome to the site.

I love hearing how others say G'day, from another Aussie who lives in a far too cold place. :-)
