Arg! I had an entry for this! I took a shot on Saturday, started lazily editing on Sunday (then stopped to spend time watching the Superbowl with the roomies/girlfriend) thinking I had until Tuesday to finish.
Looking at the entries in this challenge I'm kinda glad I fumbled this one... there are a ton of good shots! I'm sorry to see so many low votes in this challenge, I'll make my voting pass and see if I can't perk up some scores! |

Well, whoever the Dark Lord of low starting scores is, I would like to thank them. Coming into a 3 for my first vote on this challenge and watching a slow rise has been a much better experience, than my experience in Sentinel, where I watched it start at 6.25 and crash into an abysmal 4.86. . .

Wow! This is a great score for a shot that I felt was seriously flawed. I had a great idea, but I made a terrible mistake with my settings when photographing it, and didn't have time for a re-shoot. I predicted between a 5 and a 5.2 so this score is a nice surprise. Of course with only 32 votes there is pleanty of time for it to drop. But I got a fav so who cares. :) |

I'm right there with you, Brian. No comments either, but I don't need them. 4.8 is about what mine deserves. The subject matter is good, but the image quality isn't. I knew that when I entered.

Decided to finish up the editing on what would have been my entry into this challenge. It's not a stupendous shot, but it gave me a chance to play with using a light box:
There were a lot of great images entered, so I don't feel too bad about missing the deadline now. ;) |
