two babies

the first one is taken "blind", while breasfeeding, camera on macro and holding it above my head. No cropping.

I've got most of digital favorites in my profile here. Some of my real favorites were taken on film though so I don't have them online.

My best pictures don't seem to fall within the challenge deadlines :(

I love the hanglider pic. I wish I was into photography when I used to hang glide. Were you flying yourself when you took this? If so, what kind of glider do you have. I used to have a Vision 20 but I almost died so I don't fly now.

When the fog rolls in around San Francisco sometimes it's so low that it looks like clouds. Taken at Fort Funston great place to watch sunsets, hanggliders, paragliders, lovebirds (:P).

I would love to try hang gliding but have not tried it yet.

How interesting you have a Fort called Fort Funston.. Here at Fort Riley (Kansas) there is a camp here called Camp Funston

At the moment I'm pretty smitten with this one:

Surprisingly not all that much editing, mostly just selective color, levels, hue/saturation.

Here's my favourite, mainly for its mood. I had intended to shoot my little guy in profile. On his own, he came up with several much more interesting poses than I had imagined, including this one.

Took this in 1992 I think. It got me started in shooting for the music business.

Thats a really nice image! Who is the singer?

hello from the "takes too long to load because I can only afford dialup" club. jonr could you please post thumbnails of your shots? They really take a long time to load.
Thank you for your consideration of those poor people that have dialup.

I'm glad you did that. Sorry I'm an old cranky fart.
That last one is fantastic. Is it tree size? Or does it look so big because of the way it was taken?
