I'm foggy on what time of the morning it was... 4:00am-ish?

I don't subscribe to regular newspapers because the delivery people often wake me up.

This guy drove his creaky-doored car down our street, stopped in front of my house, and opened up his creaky hatch to sort through the papers.

I went to the open bedroom window to see WTF woke me up, and there he is walking across my lawn toward my door. I spoke up and said "Get off my lawn!" like the crotchety old bastard I am. He was surprised, apologized, and b-lined it off my lawn. I said, "You woke us up." and went back to bed in a fog.

I almost thought it was a dream when I woke up this morning.

Sometimes the local papers stick complimentary papers in our box. Though there was no paper in it this morning. I suppose I should call every paper in the area to tell them to keep their complimentary papers out of my box until they give their delivery people some oil and some common sense about being quiet at 4:00am.

LOL! Our trash collectors come at 5am. And they are really loud! Banging trash cans, lids flying, the "crusher" going. Oh, and did I mention the recycle truck usually comes right after with the bottles and cans falling loudly into the truck.

Try closing your windows or insulating your house...Gotta be something wrong with your house if you can hear a creaky door at 4am.

Nudder thing... since your were already awake, why didn't you make some coffee and go to work... you slacker. :O)
