Yes they did explain why. One of them made no sense even after I read it several times and the other two both said the same thing. Actually, you were one of the comments  Ja-9 and you did explain why. Yours was one of them that MADE sense. My only point was that none of the three seemed to see anything they liked. I'm fine with that because I think the shot is really cool and I wouldn't change it because it was exactly what I wanted. Please don't think I'm trying to be nasty because I'm not. It just kind of sounds harsh to me after I read what I wrote but I can't think of any other way to word it. I do appreciate comments and it seems we get so few these days and I'm trying to do my part to give out as many comments as I can.

it takes alot for me to take it as harsh...trust me...harsh I've had...I always worry that I'm really insulting the person/picture and that is never my intent...I am only trying to voice what I see...once over (challenge) I'll have to go back and try to clarify ;) |

Sigh, I was looking forward to voting on this challenge, but I don't think I can anymore. Totally agree.... I have decided to not vote on this challenge as well. I, too, am concerned about consciously or subconsciously downvoting someone. I really love my entry, have already printed and framed it and am very happy with it. The score here, however, was in the 7's after 10 votes and has totally tanked since then. I have voted on the other challenges (the ones I didn't enter) and enjoyed that. The telephone challenge was especially awesome -- I think I gave an average score of 5.99 for that extraordinary challenge and will go on from there.

Most say that my problem is sharpness. Then picture seemed sharp to me, but then lost a lot of sharpness in the resizing. Also, I currently don't have photoshop or any post processing program so I am limited :/

I haven't used it, but I have friends tell me that Gimp, an open source powerful software, can do almost everything one would normally need. Here is a link:

Some default program. It was on my work computer, so I don't recall exactly but I want to say it was Microsoft Picture editing? For all I know it probably does have a sharpen feauture but I don't always trust those kind of softwares. I want my photoshop back! :'(

I have never had this low of a scoring entry get this many comments, unless there was a purpose such as the Puzzle Macro.

I was thinking the same thing. I have 18 comments and 2 faves but I doubt my score would even be in the top 10, unless it is a low scoring challenge!
