makes me think the single tuesday challenge might be a good idea, i know i've been handing out some comments too, pleased to see 6 comments on a mediocre image even though there are 200+ entries. |

Finally got through the voting! Lots of fairly mediocre shots (mine included) plus some truly outstanding shots. Creative shots in harsh outdoor lighting, plus wind, little composition control, etc. make outdoor natural flower shots difficult. Kudos to those who created some truly excellent images!

OK, went back and gave some comments. Gave some comments to my top picks (easy) and then went to some of my lower picks to offer some of my opinions on improvements, which I normally am not real comfortable with except in extreme cases. Hope I don't get slammed for those. Sometimes what I may see as a flaw may actually be the photographers artistic intent (such as choice of focus area or DOF).
On the plus side, I did raise my average score given to 5.9539 after a closer look at some. |

For a mediocre average, this seems to be pulling in a fair amount of comments. Mixed positive and negative opinions. It's been interesting. I'm glad I entered this one.

| just finished all my comments...hopefully I didn't offend anyone...some really weird stuff went on while I was commenting...I made a comment on one picture and I advanced using the arrows and my comment "moved forward" to the next photo... weird...soooo if your comments don't make any since...hmmm |

I wasn't smiling because of what FPX wrote to you, it was about danieletagliabue's copy-pasted comment on several of the sunrise/susnset-pictures. (I am sorry if I offended anyone, not my intention.)

thank you josefine i didn't even realize why janine might have thought there was a joke...it was the giggle about the copy/pasted comments.
and about that, i truly do think there's a chance that it's what janine and one other commenter reported happening, and if not, well then i guess there was a little joke about it embedded in there :) |
