A good guideline for basic is that any adjustment must be applied to the entire image. Vignettes squeezes in from the edges and doesn't touch some places, so that's illegal.

Sorry, I don't follow... you definitely didn't comment on my photo on flickr though as I wouldn't up it there before the challenge was over!

(Yeah, I guess now that I've entered a few challenges and am using this forum it's realistic to assume someone voting will check my flickr during the voting progress - I'll make sure not to do that again) =)

Thanks, I've made sure to thoroughly read through the rules now, so hopefully I shouldn't have any more dq's any time soon.

LOL....it is an old DPC site joke ! Rugman and I were once BANNED for Life for for being the SAME PERSON ! However, as you now may notice, we are two different fools and have been let back on !

Hah, alright. Well at least these days it seems everyone's clear it's only you and SEG who are the same person ;).

Yep...and it doesn't help that SEG can't figure out how to get my name off the copyright notice that my old D70 is adding to all his photos !

Thanks... My score has swung quite a bit after having a decent amount of votes, both up and down... hopefully it ends on an upswing!

I definitely need someone to tell me how to do this. I dont see it anywhere in the cameras menu option.

I don't know....I think 5.73 will get you higher than you think in this one. I think one is best and then 6 or 7 after that. I think 5.7 is going to be high in this one.

Edward Weston Challenge with a 6.46 for yellow. The next closest is Wheels in January, where all three ribbons were betwen 6.45 and 6.50.
