I've been using Blurb for my wedding albums because the quality for the price is really good. However, I need more options for my clients that Blurb does not give me.
Does anyone know of a company that prints coffee table style books with a metallic finish for the interior pages? And even better, the same with a cushioned style cover that still has the picture imbedded?
I saw a book from a local photographer one time that had the metallic pages and photo wrap cover that was cushioned. It had a very cool contemporary vibe which most brides are looking for these days. But he wouldn't tell me what company he used I guess cause I am his competition. WHATEVER hahaaa
Anyone have some ideas? And around the same price range as Blurb?
I've looked all over the web and cannot find anything like that.

You might have good results by emailing blurb with what your needs are. Most companies are happy to adapt to keep a client (even if it takes a while before it happens).

Dunno about your specific needs, but you could try Queensberry, Asukabook.
I would avoid GraphiStudio at all costs--took me 6 months, 3 reprints, to get a book from them that barely met standards (their second attempt was actually WORSE than their first, and the third attempt still had minor errors). Possibly the worst customer service and sloppiest quality experience I have ever encountered. |
