I went to Iceland in May 1986. It was wonderful. Four o'clock light all day long.
Um, there might have been a bit of cloud cover now and then. Still, the geysers, calderas, volcanic activity, glaciers,
waterfalls, surrealistic lava formations, bubbling pits of pure color, Uh, well, you can see it made an impression
on me! Unfortunately, at the time, I was shooting print film and it has faded. Take a trip around the island.
See the puffins, the Icelandic ponies, and - as they say - much, much more.
Finangle a trip to Greenland while you're in the area.
Iceland was one of the high points of my travels, and I've done a fair amount of wandering.
