| I have to say, one thing I do like about 500px is the blog feature. It's under used I think, but I've found some interesting things from browsing the blogs. |

The UI on that site baffles me. WTF is... portfolio, profile? Why are they different? Why when I click on any image on my profile do I get a 404 always?

I'm undecided about it really so far ... the 20 pics per day is a but annoying and I'm not going to pay until I decide it's any good!

So, anybody been on 500px since they "upgraded" the website yesterday?

When I joined 500px they had an integrated option to have your images for sale via Fotomoto. This was disabled a while ago due to a disagreement of some sort between 500px and Fotomoto. They have now implemented a new "print" facility. You can actually only buy canvas prints at 24" x 36" and they are $500 (flat price). Seems excessively high pricing to me. Otherwise you can buy downloads for $2.99 (no custom pricing available). |
