I have bad news, I can't attend. I was all geared up to attend but I just received some news. I am currently renting and they sold the house. That means I will have to move around the same time as this gathering. Of course moving soaks up a load of cash. Bugger... That means moving, wedding and honeymoon in a matter of weeks. :(

Don't mean to sound totally blonde, but when is this excursion? We (pearcer and foxy plus our little bloke) live at Lismore NSW and may like to come if that's ok. When & where exactly????? |

Is a weekend the go or would you prefer just a day trip, seeing you guys are from Brisbane Maybe a Sunny Coast destination would suit more?
Idea's are most welcome as you guys kinda caught me by surprise. |
Hey Foxycoxy3au
This is the weekends we are all pretty happy with I think. The local news has just announced that on Saturday 25th Sept will be the "Tin Can Bay" Seafood Festival as well! Makes Tin Can Bay even more attractive!
BooZon! That is terrible, but you might need a day off from moving to relieve the stress! :)
Cheers.. Bob

I used to live in Gympie *shudder* so used to go to Tin Can Bay heaps.
You might want to consider Rainbow Beach, especially up the top of the cliffs on the dunes, as the coloured sands are sensational!
I think Rainbow, apart from the possibility of dolphins, has more photographic potential.
They are really close to each other, so would be easy to do both in a morning/afternoon (ignoring travel time to get there).

Let me know how it goes guys! I would love to come but unfortunantly I'm working around that time, and living in Melbourne it's a bit of a hike for me to get up there. Maybe next time if it's a bit further down south (even Sydney) then I'll get to meet you guys. Well have fun on your trip! |

G'day Dirk
Well can't see why you can't take time off work and fly here from Holland its only a 24 hour flight for our day out! lol
Its a shame though, maybe I'll organise one when you do come out and visit us.
Bob
