Looking at the first one a Free Study at last! A home (as opposed to the house) can be:
a house (yes, but not only)
a street
a town
a state
a country
this planet
the universe!
:)
PS Great timing!!
PS2 It should probably be "a universe" as parallel universes cannot be excluded ;)

I LOVE Melbourne.
Please dont get me wrong, Our quality of life is soooooo much better since moving to Oz, I was just saying that UK is my home, it always will be, it is somewhere I can always go to and be welcome. My family are there and it will always hold a place in my heart. I sickens me seeing all the images from the riots in UK. It is all so wrong.
I would not change a thing about my life now though, Australia is fantastic and Melbourne is just what I was looking for out of life. I love it!

Apparently, in DPC, the concept "DNMC" is only valid in the eye of the voter, and only until voting has stopped; it's completely irrelevant once the votes have been counted, since an image can't be DQ'd for failing to meet the challenge.

Unless it is an extra rule... which in this case it is not. You wont get a DQ for not photographing "YOUR" home. |

I agree with you. Perhaps we should start a riot to protest? The Village Burners are here to help if needed |

What I consider home kills my creativity. I have the most boring set of images ever.

I find your portfolio one of the most interesting on the site! Perhaps a case of familiarity breeds contempt? |

wow, thanks! Each challenge is unique and each comes with it's own.. well, challenges. I just didn't think the images moved beyond snapshot and while I love that part of my home I think I didn't do it justice that's why I didn't enter.
