I think this would be a fun Halloween season challenge. I put some blood in a Fork challenge earlier this year. I kinda liked the image, but think it may have turned a few people off. It got some good comments.

I'd rather the challenge not be called blood, because then if you can't actually see blood the dnmc police will be out. And fake blood is so messy! How about Scary or just Halloween themed? |

I object to this challenge idea. It will promote a lot of faux violence scenes, which will be disturbing on many levels. Yes, I can ignore the challenge and not enter, nor vote. So be it. |

You make in interesting point. There is far too much violence in the world. Perhaps a more general scary/Halloween theme would be more appropriate. |

I am so sick with the Halloween presence everywhere. It's not funny any longer. Nor is it creatively done. |

If it's blood and guts, then it would be appropriate to make it a WPL exclusive challenge. |

If it creates an excuse to wear a gorilla suit to work, I have to support it.

To add.... I'm not anti-blood. I love the blood/gore/horror genre. I just hate dealing with the fake blood. LOL! Now, maybe if it was real blood it wouldn't be so bad, but I can never seem to get anyone to bleed on demand. Funny story, my next door neighbor came over a couple weeks ago, hanging onto his hand and leaving a trail of blood. His can opener went berserk on him (so he claimed) and he needed me to wrap his fingers so he could drive himself to the hospital for stitches. For two weeks every time he needed a can opened he came over with his can and had me open it. He finally got a new can opener a couple days ago. |
