All of this reminded me of something my dad used to say to me:
"If you're cold it's because you aren't working hard enough"

I work outside all year in northern Maine.. I'm pretty immune to cold in general.... However, "If you're cold it's because you aren't working hard enough" stops working at a point. (usually below zero with a wind..)

im a groundworker up north in england and it get cold up here, no matter how many layers you put on when that wind start biting through its time to hide in the ddigger cab with the heater on full hahah :) |

Trust me I know a boatload about cold and am quite familiar with -40 and colder temperatures. However, I did on a few occasions manages to sweat even under those conditions.
