Hello.

I am wondering about the way "highest rated photographs" in profiles are computed.

Right now, it is built considering the photographs scores. Considering that this site is a challenge site, I think that perhaps they could be computed based on challenge results.

It would mean sorting them by Percentile, and in case of equal percentiles using the scores.

As an example, in my profile I have a 53% photo shown, but I have a 56% and a 64% that are not shown.

My opinion is that what is most important is percentile. The average scores for different challenges could change from challenge to challenge, making a sort by scores less relevant than percentiles.

Other opinions?

Yeah I agree 100%

As I have posted elsewhere I use the % to set my personal goal for improvement! I also have photos displayed in what I view as the wrong way around simply because of the scores.

There should be an option so you can choose how your photos are ordered when people look at your profile. Some people might like it the way it is now, so how hard can it be to make a choice on the user preferences screen for it?

I'm game for the option.

I've mentioned a couple of times that it would be tres cool to be able to sort on whichever criteria you like. Perhaps implemented like Explorer style column heads that you click on to sort on that column...
