I bought four tickets to a show at the local theatre for $450, theatre price, online.

Six days later I find a Wagjag (it's like groupon) offer, four tickets for $150.

====

The theatre just phoned me back. The promoter of the (travelling) show set up the Wagjag offer. The theatre is going to call the promoter and call me back.

I don't know what will happen, but I don't find it very encouraging, as I'd like to support this theatre in the future. This is an upscale city and theatre, so... wow.

I was so pissed off that I told her that she should let the promoter know that I'm a popular, and widely read blogger, and this wouldn't reflect well on the group.

GAHHH! >:-(

Nothing but the best for my family! :-D

I had to make myself feel better by phoning my satellite tv provider, who had just moved my monthly rate up from the last time I had it lowered. Much better results this time. My bill is moved down from $120 per month to $60 per month, plus a guy is coming on Saturday to install an upgraded PVR... I was complaining about how our 7 year old remotes are now unreadable, as the paint has worn off the popular buttons.

Got two tickets comped, and get to keep our seats at the front, while the wagjaggers keep their nosebleeds. Good enough for me today.

I got a good explanation of how this happened, so I'll be avoiding the situation in the future.

I want to support the performing arts centre, especially as it's very good for my property value. ;-)

Way to throw your weight around! You can be my hero for a while. Besides, I never knew guys who wear gorilla suits and do chainsaw carvings also supported the "arts"... :-)
