This is the last time I submit abstract photography, some people just arent getting it... sigh, well at least i dont feel as bad as when my vp bombed, doing bad is becoming a habit.

Don't worry about submitting absrtact photos. I submit abstract photos because I want to experiment with my photography. If we all submitted perfect 10's there would be no use at all for this site as a learning tool. Submit what you want to not what everyone else wants then sit back and enjoy.

The comments come in all seeming to be positive, yet the score is at a slow rise, started at 5.15 at the beginning of the challenge. Being my first challenge, All I really want is to be in the top half, and hopefully the top 50. But I'm not holding my breath for the latter. :D |

Even though my score, at 5.8, is not a recordbreaker, the number of comments I have received, at 29, beats my previous best of 23 by a mile. Certainly I have never in my life had so much feedback on any photo, and a lot of it very useful and constructive. I am very grateful to all of you who have taken the time to let me know what you think.

Didn't enter neon, but my vanishing entry had a neon feel, just too far for me to walk back there and take the pic again :)

I was unable to enter this challenge because of computer woes, but I actually cast the highest votes for the people who did think outside the box and photograph something other than a neon sign. I'll be interested to see which one was yours when the voting is over. |

Tis to be expected since my colors are more primary than neon in nature...too bad I didn't realize that hue adjustments were allowed until after I had submitted. Ehh...I'll try and get 'em next time.
