Boy, am I excited to get silver efex pro for free. I have been long using HDR efex pro, but couldn't justify the money on Silver. |

Wow. I've been on the verge of purchasing the whole package and that's a fantastic price. $149 for the whole kit, and for PS as well. |

I only got the LR version for that price! I wonder if the upgrade will be for the full LR + PS suite? |

Argh...I paid $150 for the LR edition a few years ago, paid something like $200-$300 (I think) to upgrade to the full collection with PS a year or so after that. And just Mar 3, realizing I was behind and didn't have HDR Efex Pro 2 (I had one) I paid $45 to upgrade! TOBAL!
Glad they're lowering the prices...great software. Would like my $45 back though! (The rest I am fine with since that was the price back then and I got plenty of use.) |

According to that post, it is. But I guess you won't know for sure until you're at the checkout stand. Maybe I should pounce before they change their mind. |

Got an email from them today saying I can download the latest updates for free. Hopefully it will have PS plugins included. |

This is totally awesome, since I just bought the whole kit & caboodle for a lot more money a couple of weeks ago. Now they're issuing me a hefty refund. |

I haven't had an e-mail yet. I have the full suite for Aperture and I already had the SEP and CEP for PS. Should be eligible for the full PS version, but haven't had an e-mail yet. I guess the Europe side is delayed (as usual!) |

When did you buy? Did you call Nik at the usual number? I only have $45 to gain, but heck, it's $45. |

Will this help you?
"If you previously bought any of these plugins, Google isn’t going to leave you in the cold for already having dropped a lot of money. If you purchased any individual plugin within the last five years, you get the entire collection for free. If you spent more than $149 on plugins since February 22nd of this year, you’ll be refunded the difference."

i'm excited to get the PS extensions as I have only those for Aperture at the moment, but I'm a bit nervous about the future. I don't trust google. |

Yup, downloaded and installed the new version(s).
Put an image in PS5 and did a little test driving.
After only a few maneuvers, PS5 crashed.
Closed everything and tried again with the same image using lots of silly tricks
to make it crash again.
Thankfully, it worked well this time around. I'm pleased.

Unfortunately, no! But it helps explain that I'm out of luck! Anyway, I'm happy you got the refund! |

Well I guess this takes away "some" of the worry that Google would shut down the advanced plug-ins once they got their hands on Snapseed for mobile devices. There is no love in this announcement for me however since I have owned the whole suite for a while.
I noticed a couple of days ago that OnOne was offering a "competitive upgrade" to their suite for Nik Product owners at just $149. Doesn't seem very enticing now that the entire Nik suite can be had for the same amount. I like OnOne for some products too and wonder what this means for them if they have to maybe follow suit and slash prices too without having the deep pockets that Google has... |

Got mine installed. It gives me Dfine and Sharpen, which I did not have. New toys! |

Apparently I bought after Feb 22. |

Haven't rec'd an email yet, but their blog says, "If you’ve already purchased one or more Nik plug-ins in the past, we’re also going to upgrade you to the entire Nik Collection by Google for free. Just keep an eye out for emailed instructions in the next few days."
Guess I'll need to be patient. I have all but one of the suite. (I didn't have Sharpen.)
It's an interesting development. Very much worth the money. Now... almost free. |
