Don't have a clue as to how to search for this. I got a blue with a 6.7118.

Just wondering about some of the more obscure challenges that didn't score particularly high.....

Pigeons was won with a whopping 6.3972

I haven't updated my stats for a while for 2012 but between 2002 and 2011 I believe these are the 3 lowest scores for Blue, Red and Yellow.

Blue

April 2011 - Yellow Ribbon with a score of 6.1899.

One might also ask about the highest scoring non-ribbon (necessarily a fourth place finisher).

for a close low, my 6.1126 got me a 4th with this


for a close high, my 7.5024 got me a 4th with this

i got a blue with this:

i think neither of those images would score a 6+ today.

Again between 2002 and 2012 only; the top 10 non-ribbon scoring shots:




Most came from a single "masters" challenge. I think there might have been a little bias in those scores.

228 other shots between 2002 and 2011 finished higher than this without a ribbon :-)

BTW: in that same time period, 896 images finished with a 7 or higher without a ribbon

49 finished higher with no ribbon between 2002 and 2011

49 finished higher between 2002 and 2011


I figured mine wasn't the most extreme. Just fun having one better than Oliver. ;)

BTW - did you hit the fifty points yet or am I still in the running, Oliver?

don't think so, but i stopped counting when i stopped entering early this year. will check.
