OK the Obama / Romney debate is about to begin.......

| I'll keep a running tally on how many times each candidate evades the question by answering on a tangent, moving the response over to what HE wants to discuss, not what the moderator is asking... The over/under is probably 17, cumulative. Yes, I'm disenchanted... |

My parents can't tell that health care cost has been lowered....and my brother has had to sell out of his OBGYN practice to a hospital because they can afford the lawyers to fight the medicare people...He is now an employee

I wish Romney actually had unveiled some plans so we'd know what he's doing. Ryan's said more than Romney has. How do you go against nebulous "I can do everything great" when there's no specifics? Does he really have any plans?

Obama has been trying to defend Obamacare from the beginning..... I am not a fan...My cost have gone up alot

Something has to be done -- and at least he's trying.
Cost for getting 2 stitches in an emergency room -- $6500.

I completely agree....The main prob is lawsuits...Docs have to pay for their malpractice insurance. My bro is an OBGYN. They have one of the highest rates. A woman can sue the doc all the way til the kid is 21 years old. At one point he was paying a mil dollars a year for insurance. Stop that.....bring down costs

The problem, as I see it, is that is is equivalent to interviewing your new chef by asking him to paint your house.
Debates are fine and fun and all, but they are an art unto themselves, and rarely is anything said that will actually be held to in the future. Frankly it's a stupid dog and pony show that only serves to distract the public. |

| Interesting that Romney debated as the Governor of Massachusetts, the very guy he denied being through out the primary. I had no idea the liked socialized medicine so much. Nice to know |

Hmmm cost for getting 4 or more stitches at an Urgent Care Clinic $300, so why go to ER? Just wondering.

Chris Matthews was absolutely livid last night on Rachael Maddow's review after the debate. Thought he was going to blow a gasket.
Personally, I do not underestimate Barack. With more debates coming anything can happen. The President's team this morning is pushing how Romney was testy and how they won the debate handidly. But even Donna Brasille acknowledged last night that Romney had some good moments.
We'll see what shakes out in the next few days - but remember - Barack beat Hillary so he is no lightweight by any means. I expect even more dirt in ads very soon. |
