Nikon posted firmware updates for most of their recent DSLRs today, including the D600, D800/e, D4, D7000, D3200, and the entire D3 series. Besides enabling support for the new 800mm f/5.6, it sounds like they fixed a lot of people's niggling complaints, including fixing some autofocus and live view problems in the D800, and on the D4, "Images are sharper and appear more three dimensional." |

Oh this is such a wonderful site (Nikon) said user name or password is wrong, they just emailed me a new link... well ahhh NO... so site said contact support... WHAT.. only way I can find to contact support is by email.... thru the account that I can't get into... sigh.... am I stoooopid and before I WASTE any more time WTH is it really gonna fix??? Distortion, something I'm missing???? |

can't figure out how to update my D600....I tried to follow the instructions but it didn't seem to work.... |

I just managed to do this with some difficulty. The instructions are less clear than they should be. One thing that bit me was that I had to take the 2nd memory card out, or it wouldn't give me the option to upgrade.
