Some pump hairspray leaked on to my S95 during travel. It powers on, most of the buttons work but the shutter release and a few of the buttons on the back don't work. Any ideas?

I'd take out the battery and try to work pure isopropyl alcohol around the buttons until they loosen up. It shouldn't harm the electronics, but you'll have to wait a while for the alcohol to evaporate before powering on the camera.

Once upon a time, some water leaked over my phone and half the buttons stopped working (its not a smart phone). It was a hot day, i shut it off, popped out the battery, left the phone in my car for a few hours - came back and all was well.

Not sure if you will have similar success - that's the closest i ever got to your situation.

I let it sit and dry that didn't work. So far the alcohol hasn't helped.
