I just finished reading a book called "The Sports Gene". It explains why certain athletes are good at certain things (why Jamaicans are great sprinters, a certain tribe of Kenyans are great distance runners, why Michael Phelps is a great 6'4" swimmer with a 32" inseam). It's all certain gene sets. This guy seems to have gotten the balancing on a bicycle gene, as well as the stupidity gene. |

That's really nuts. I remember seeing a video like this Brazilian village biking and thinking it was cool but, the video you posted is extreme. |

I'm not sure I'd even walk on that path. |

We never seem to run out of ways to put our life in peril. |

You know what cracks me up?... Right around 23 seconds there is a little spot of orange spray paint on the trail...as if to suggest that part is dangerous!! :-) |

It's a dilemma for me......though I admire the guts & skill, I also don't have a lot of sympathy when one of these guys gets hurt/killed if they......miss.
Kind of like people that free climb.....they know what they're doing. Man cannot fly, so if he drops a couple hundred feet because of something he's doing for fun and thrills, well......
Anybody know if the guy on the bike has a parachute?????

You can set the playback to 2x or 3x speed. ;-)
Quite and incredible ride! I used to ride motorcycles on trails like that WAY back when I was young, fearless and invincible. |

We used to chop up old mopeds back in the day and thrash them over hills and valleys but this is a different level. |
