Did you look at my flickr page, where this photo also resides?

I didn't see this picture anywhere else. But you're warm in some regards. ETA: Hint. Picture details show it was uploaded on September 25, 2013

Yes indeed. Too easy perhaps? But it was a fun trip down memory lane for me. As teenagers growing up in Plymouth we loved taking the ferry and then spending the day on the grounds of Mount Edgecombe. The idea of a folly was really appealing too for some reason.
ETA: How did you recognize it? Have you been there?

I've not been there but have seen photos -- maybe someday though!
Here's the next one:

It's very "Great Lakey" in design. Closest I could find is Eagle Bluff, Wisconsin, but I don't think that's it. |

I feel I'm regionalizing my submissions :)
Larry - I just googled the Eagle Bluff lighthouse, that is close!
Bear - close-ish but on too-warm of a Great Lake :)
However:

Ding! Ding! Ding! We have a winner - this is the Copper Harbor lighthouse. Taken last January on a test run with a Sigma 800/5.6
Larry, you're up! |

I've got an idea of the place I want to post next, but the photos are at home. I'll put it up tonight. |

I'm specifically looking for the structure on the right, but since it's such a bad photo, I'll just take the location. Bonus points if you name the structure.

Are those a couple of cannons on top of the wall on the building on the right? |

Well, search engine & about 15 minutes results in Fort Fincastle, Nassau, Bahamas.
'Tis an interesting structure, as well as the fort itself appears to be just 3 large guns and not much else. See: Virtual Tourist, Nassau
I believe someone else should put up the next "location".

Long ways from Idaho, right country though. Should be a lot easier if you can figure out what the building was used for. |

Not an armory. It is old, but not as old as the Springfield Armory.
It's closer to the HQ of the company named for the armory than the actual historic site.
