Excellent, thanks.
I first learned this technique from a website which I can no longer access so it's great to have a quick reference guide I know I can find.

Hi!
I am a rank amature in using Photoshop.
I tried your instructions but am unable to get it right.
One, when I apply the Lighting Effects, only the letters [with the effect] are visible and the background remains white. In your example, the background too has turned dark with lighting effects. Did I miss any step?
Two, I am unable to apply drop shadow or change the colour after the curves adjustment has been made. How do I do this ?
Can you please help me out here ?
Thanks in advance,
Best regards
Suresh

Believe it or not a friend was over yesterday looking for a particular eroded type font and I found it at 1001fonts. Thanks for that info. |

Hi, yet another amateur!!!!!
I cant apply the lighting effect... firstly it is grayed out on my drop down menu, filter- render- lighting effects...?
secondly if i try to apply the lens flare, which is not grayed out, it tells me "could not complete command because filter module does not work with single channel images ???
Please help me someone. |
