Courtesy of our friend and former member Leo Koach (Focus_Point in DPC) I have a stash of embroidered DPC hats to give away. I've decided to award half a dozen of them to the members of the winning team in this season's DPL that's about to start. These are very cool caps, so do your level best!
Here's me wearing one in Yosemite a couple years ago...

| Since I've never done this before, I'm not completely clear on the concept. If I were to join the waiting list, and that waiting list became a 10th team, would I be committing myself to enter every challenge, or a challenge every week, or do you just need so many entries from each team each week? Is there something somewhere with an outline of how this thing works? |

6-member teams. If every member enters at LEAST one challenge a week, the team gets an extra 0.5 pt bonus over and above their image scores. So being able to contribute an image a week is very important. The team score is based on the top 4 images each week, with the proviso that no single team member can contribute more than one image a week to the team score. So IF you got a 7+ score in all 3 challenges in a given week, the team would only be able to use one of those. If ALL team members enter ALL challenges in a given week, the team will have 18 images entered, and the top 4 will be the scoring images, assuming no two of them are from the same shooter.

here there is a quick description. In summary, to participate you are only require to submit to one challenge a week.

The new hats are screen printed, not embroidered.

Well then, not only are the winners going to be getting shiny new hats (well...maybe not Shiny), but they get to say they whooped 3 SC members now as well? What's NOT to love about the new TPL. (barring teams 1 or 10 winning, that is)
