Ok, where did my summer go???
I was waiting for it all summer long, we had it for less than a week just a few weeks ago.. now, I am sitting with my little work heater on, pants, slippers, and two layers of clothing....
If this doesn't give the weird change to weather, what will.. the strangest weather I have seen all year and the coolest summer I have ever been in.. Sure, I loved the "warm" summer, but I look forward to the sweltering heat that makes you wanna jump in the pool/lake..
Now, with the rain....and I just heard not sure if this is true or not, but I just came across this..
Good bye summer, hello WINTER... Just forget about the fall lololol
Just ten days after Labor Day South Dakota just got hit with the S word.. SNOW....We were just there a few weeks ago and yes, it was cold there too... we were wearing light jackets..
Now, I fear an early snow, colder, colder winter than last year... and I "should have" stowed away in their suitcase when my brother and sister in law when they decided to move south to Florida...
OK, soapbox rant over... I feel better now LOL! But it does annoy me for some awful reason... or is it just me?

When the glaciers melt due to global warming, it makes us colder. Or something like that.
I've never been able to figure that out.

Wusses... a bit of cool weather and people start to bitch.
Good gief folks....put your big boy pants on and go out and enjoy the world. The nice thing about the cooler months is that there are no bugs or skeeters, and you can keep your beer cold simply by sticking it in the snow bank. For the ladies, there is the added bonus of not having some ole (or young) fart ogling you cause you have too many layers of clothing on.
No siree... ya won't hear me bitching about the cold... not me.
Did I mention that I am off to Australia and New Zealand for a part of December and all of January... but I digress.
This is about all of US and enjoying the winter months... :O)

I am jealous.
Here in Brisbane, Australia, we just had our short little "winter", and it seems we won't get a spring, we'll just head straight back to full on hellish heat for 8 months.
Sigh. Enjoy your cold weather - it is much easier to deal with than stupid heat and humidity. |

"Global Warming" isn't actually global warming, it's "Climate Change". The process of climate change produces localized anomalies in micro-climates as everything gets all messed up. It's not like everywhere in the world is gonna warm up all at once, it doesn't work that way. The *aggregate* temperature IS rising, however. |

My favorte is the humidity and hot hot weather... the winter time is the ONLY time I get to see my favorite wildlife ... Eagles..
You will find me in their habitat in -20 winter weather.. its the midwest of course :))
I just think the weather is just very unpredictable these days and getting weirder as the years go on... just find it odd that the seasons don't even have its regular place anymore

Typing with cold fingers?
No snow here yet. We're under a tropical wave of sorts, with a chance of some flooding. |
