| FWIW I'm viewing this on a 1080p Surface Pro right now that has a 10" display. It really couldn't be any smaller on any device short of a smartphone, and everything still looks fine to me. |

| Well at this time all I have is Apple hardware - iPhone 5s, iPad 2, iMac 27", Macbook Pro 13" and all of them look the same to me - cramped. So chalk it up to my screen preferences or whatever, the front page looks cramped and crowded. |

I love it! I think it's a small change with a significant impact - i.e. more exposure for the 4th & 5th place finishers, which I am guessing will yield more views and comments for them.
I have not noticed that the images are smaller at all on my phone. I always thought they looked unnecessarily sparse and were just spread 3 across. I think they look great on the phone horizontally...
and vertically...
Our profile pages have up to EIGHT images across. This is an overdue, but very welcome change, IMO. Thanks to those who helped push for this and many thanks to  Langdon for getting it done. |

I'm not crazy about it either, but perhaps my reasons are different. Last week, if stopped on the street, I could have described the front page images. Now, my retention is challenged. The change seems to appeal more to those aspiring for front page visibility than it does the casual entrant or site visitor.
But... I just don't feel that strongly about it. And I'm happy someone behind the scenes is still listening and responding. |

| I like it, too, but I view on a full size monitor - and I can count my wins including HM's on my fingers and love the idea of making it to the "top" a little more frequently. |

| Although I'm happy for the HMs to get their due, I unfortunately find the homepage a bit overwhelming/unpleasant. Maybe I'll bookmark a different page on the site as a landing point, or just not land so much. |

People, Langdon has given us a gift! You know what your mom would tell you to do... Just sayin'.
I think that if we'd always had this, we would all love it. It's the change that we old folks have a difficult time with.
Kudos given to more people is always a good thing.
Thanks again, Langdon! I really, really love it! Seriously.
Please don't stop giving us gifts just because we aren't grateful enough! We old dogs... new tricks... you know. *grin* |
