MY challenge to the Masters.
Don't be afraid to show me what you see.
Challenge me.
Make me understand your vision.
You guys have an amazing oppertunity to teach me to think outside the box. Take it.
Good luck to all, and thank you for the time you take to teach.

Well, first; I do not consider myself a master, rather I am the etertnal art student. I love all types of photography but right now I explore the creative expression. This does not mean that I think the less for the other platforms. My original entry which I will post at a later time was replaced because it is an effort which may have been found on another challenge. To be true to myself I must make an entry that is not as "safe". So I take a great risk and plow on with my creative interpretations. I live and die by my sword and I am just happy to find a challenge in which to participate. I find more excitement in creating than in winning. I take my chances and I accept the decision of the voters. |

CONGRATULATIONS to you Masters... I am humbled by your work. :) I gave 10 10's 8 9's and 10 8's. I'll go back and comment this weekend, but there were some great shots. The [description deleted] shot was the one that drew me in to vote... the clarity of the water just boggles my mind. Anyway, some of these photos were just fabulous and so creative. My hats off to all of you.

Wow, that's all I can say. I have never given out that many 10's, 9's and 8's in my life. Simply amazing! Well done Masters!

Excellent crop of shots. I've just looked through the thumbnails... I see maybe one 5, but most likely nothing I would vote lower than a 6. I am humbled.

My average vote given is about to take a leap upwards! This challenge has produced most absolutely fantastic entries. Those which are not are still very, very good. Congratulations all round! |

Hmmm. I'd have to say I'm glad there aren't. That's what makes these photos so special, there isn't very many that are on this level. To me it'd be too much of a good thing. One great photo will stand out. Ten great photos and they are all vying for attention. 100 great photos and many won't get the recognition they deserve.

There really are some absolutely fantastic shots in this challenge, and it was an absolute pleasure to vote on it.
I've put out 24 comments so far, and expect to finish commenting on every entry before the weekend is out. Good luck to each and every one of you, and thank you to everyone that put a photo in there that I've favorited.. Some fantastic works that humble me, yet inspire the hell out of me.

I think that if anyone votes on any of these photos lower than a 5 their votes should be annulled, their account should be pulled, their dog should get mange, their refrigerator should get moldy, and the lice of a thousand camels should infest their armpits...
:-)
Seriously some great photos. Although we better NOT see any 1 votes on any of the pictures.

Rated all pictures, but normaly I go over them again and vote some higher. so this could change...
There are some realy good pictures, and some realy amazing ones.
Average votes cast (all images in this challenge: 6,159)
What I find hard is to vote low on good images, but to make a difference between a realy realy good shot and a realy good shot, I had to vote 2 4's..... (I'm sorry)

Wow! There are some truly incredibly shots! I agree, this is going to be an extremely difficult challenge to vote on...
I may have to do it in several passes simply to narrow the field.

I don't understand why you feel you have to vote a 4; if they were all say "great", why not give them all the score they deserve. Or they were all poor, I wouldn't make the "least poor" an 8 or a 10. But we all vote differently, I know.

I badly wanted my second ribbon to qualify for this.
After viewing these shots......how foolish of me...I'm not there at all.
Yet.
You should all be very proud and thankyou for the wonderful images...wow. |

Wow! I just took my first look at the Master's photos. It is going to be hard to rate anything below a 7 so it is likley to be pretty bunched up from top to bottom.
The amazing thing for me is I just returned from a shot for one of the current challenges and one of my favorite shots is almost identical to one in this challenge. Damn! I'm going to have to think hard before I choose it as my entry now.

Bongo, I respectively beg to differ with one point you made - you ARE there IMHO. I don't think anyone would argue with me on that.
