There are 1,959 photographers with cameras on this site.
If we each sent 50 cents/or equivalent in your country's money, to one photographer each week. That photographer would have $979.50 to go towards the purchase of a better camera or equipment. The following week, we could go to the next photographer in the list. For a mere investment of $26.00 per year, each of us would have better camera in approximately 37 years or approximately $962.00 (26 x 37). That's a savings of $17.50. :)
Please don't take this seriously......but I'm sure with the right spokesperson/model/motivational speaker....we could pull this off!

now we only have to convince 1957 more photographers (with less incentive offered with each person who agrees).

We could all send $1 to D&L and buy a co-location server or something for a year...

Well, a similar idea is working for a woman on this website my brother found. Another 5 seconds of Internet fame...
