Just trying out some editing ideas. Is this too over-the-top?

I think it's a bit over the top. She is looking less human there.

I used my 550EX for some of the photos. I tried to get as many as I could without a flash, using combinations of higher ISO settings, larger apertures, and slower shutter speeds.

im actually looking to get into wedding photography but didnt know how important it was to get another flash other then the one that is build into the 10d.

I'm not a pro, but in my opinion it's pretty important. The built-in flash is pretty weak, and it̢۪s better to get the flash off the camera if you can. You may even want to have a second flash, which can be slaved to the first. Mount one to the camera, preferably on an off-camera bracket, and either mount the second one on a stand, or have an assistant hold it in position.

If I do another wedding, I̢۪d like to try using my strobes and octaboxes with battery packs. Rather than set them up on light stands I̢۪ll get some assistants to hold them for me.

We definetly do not get paid enough, however it is very rewarding.
Every time I shoot a wedding, I become that couples best friend for that one very important day; you can't beat it.

Thanks David. That's a good article, and it illustrates the point that I was making earlier.
