I just can't help myself. One of my students, Christine, just received a letter from National Geographic informing her she finished in the top 25 in their recent photography competition, "Show Us Your World". There were over 2500 entries from across the nation. Her work will be displayed in exhibits for the next year and possibly used in publications or advertizements. As the saying goes if you can't do it teach it. Thank you for letting me share this exciting news with you. John Gill

Hey congrats to both you and your student. :-)

I do have a bone to pick, however. *grin* Maybe I'm just overly sensitive based on life experiences, but I really LOATHE the whole concept of "Those who can, do, those who can't, teach." Total load of CRAP... And it totally puts down people, like yourself, who are educators.....

My little vent done and over. *grin*
