I am new to the greeting card business and am setting up a website to sell my product. I will be selling more than greeting cards - letterhead, postcards, and note sheets.
Is there a way to estimate a standard shipping cost without an actual order? I want my customers to know approximately what they would pay for the shipping, but, I have no idea what to charge because I don't have the zip code.
Should I bring in a sample order to the post office to validate the shipping rate?
Or, is there a standard rate that is used? For example, $5.95 for all orders.
This is a strange question, but, I need to know the shipping rates before my website is public.
Thank you so much!

Wendy, why have you joined a photography website to ask this question? It *sounds* as if this post is a prelude to you promoting your actual product(s), and we don't allow commercial solicitation in DPC. Just FYI. |

( I couldn't figure out why I was being scolded for someone else's post! Funny that there could be two Wendys in the world. :) |
