I just wanted to get this out because it has been bothering me. In the recent wildlife challenge it stated that the subject should be in it's "natural" environment. To me this means not at the zoo. Photos taken at the zoo leave plenty of time to set up the shot, unlike a shot in the wild. I sat for hours waiting to get a shot of 2 osprey in their nest. This is normal for wildlife photography. It's time consuming and involves some stroke of luck to get the shot you want. You can't set up a tripod in a boat for instance. I'm not complaining about my score (we always think ours should be higher) but I believe "natural" environment should be just what it says.
The winning photos were great photos and I don't question that.
