Just went from a 5.2+ at 4 votes to a 4.4 at 5 votes.
I'm not sure that was necessary . . . :( |

These things happen...in the Abandoned Challenge I was at 8.8 after 2 votes...at 7.8 after 5 votes and it just kept going down without even once going up a little. Now at 6.2 after 25 votes.
By the time voting ends the scores have mostly balanced themselves out to reflect what they should be. Sometimes you might have early voters who score high and the voters who don̢۪t like your entry vote later or sometimes it̢۪s just the opposite and at other times it̢۪s a bit of both. That̢۪s why it̢۪s probably better not to start looking at your score immediately once voting opens, but rather give it a few days before you look. That way you will avoid getting unnecessarily excited or disappointed by a score that perhaps doesn̢۪t reflect your eventual final score. Anyway in each scenario by the time voting ends things will have balanced themselves out and your score will reflect what voters thought of your image on average... good luck and I hope you do well

Thanks, Fred. I was mostly trying to be funny . . . and to get a scores thread started for those who enjoy them. Guess it did sound like sour grapes :) |
