| so for me it started with 6.4 and now sitting at 5.8. I reviewed all and there are some really pinhole shots because when I was doing experiments I observed some patterns in the image but there are some I am not sure. |

I didn't even try to shoot for this and doubt I would recognise a real pinhole photo if it slapped me in the face. Maybe I shouldn't vote either.

ohh yes, it is and biggest challenge would be that "really a pinhole" shot and really shows the pinhole world

I don't understand pinhole shooting.
And, it shows in my score.
I knew it wouldn't do well, I just played and entered anyway.
I did not expect a gallery full of images that I love. It's just not my "thing".
I was not disappointed in my expectation. Ha!

I agree with you about the submissions being somewhat underwhelming on the whole but (imho) thats more about the subjects chosen rather than the method of shooting. Imagine if the submissions were all shot with a 'proper' lens and edited under standard rules for a FS, they'd mostly still be average (again imho).

My problem is with two kids, I'm kind of limited in terms of where I can shoot.
Throw in a technique which I find gimmicky and you get my expected result. |
