I'm on a mission to give my photographs that polished painting look – you know, the kind that screams professionalism. I've tinkered with some tools and tricks, but I'm hungry for advice from the pros.
Any wizards out there have tips on advanced techniques or specific software for achieving a top-notch painting effect? I'm all about those refined brush strokes, realistic textures, and detailed touches that make it look like my photos just stepped out of a high-end gallery.
If you've got the technical know-how, I'd love to hear your recommendations. Help a fellow photographer level up! Thanks a bunch! |

I'll bite. How about you tell us first what tools you've "tinkered" with in order to steer you with pro advice. Thanks. |

There are a few plugins that can do that. I use Corel Paintshop Pro which includes a brush stroke art filter. That only gives one general look, though I can vary the details.
As a new member, your profile doesn't show much. What kind of gear and software are you using? |

For a painting-like quality in your photos, focus on good lighting and a steady camera, maybe with a tripod. Use editing software like Photoshop for filters that mimic brush strokes and textures. Keep practicing to refine your style. It̢۪s all about enhancing the photo̢۪s natural beauty to make it look like a piece of art. I hope my suggestion will be helpful for everyone.

Not sure why, but obviously this question is irrelevant now. |

Interesting. "bot #2" figured out how to log back in, open this thread and edit their post (and updated their profile also). :-) |
