The 2nd place entry has been disqualified for not being able to provide an original in a timely manner.
Congratulations to the new Ribbon and HM recipients.
Friendly reminder ... if you're going to be out of town when a challenge finishes voting, consider submitting your original file in advance.

I just joined back up after years of being away. I am rusty on the rules and wish I would have submitted before leaving. Oh well.
For my knowledge I see that my camera is saving everything as a .NEF. Is that the file that is required if I place in any future challenges?

Yes, the NEF is your original, RAW file. That's always a valid proof. IF you shoot in JPG, be sure to create a virtual copy of the original JPG and do your processing on that, so the original remains untouched. |
