Sepia version
I suspect that some people didn't like the unnatural colours of the infrared version. |

The pinkish IR look wasn't the main thing for me. For me it was the composition. The fisherman and the parking sign are spaced similarly and are equally prominent. My view was pulled in 2 directions instead of being led to your subject. Hope that helps. |

Thanks Steve. I thought the composition might me a problem too, but too late to change it. I guess I chose the wrong photo to enter. |

The sign was great, an exceptional find. Not sure the person walking on the water was understood. A good image I was surprised this image didn’t place better. |

Thanks. It was doing a lot better until the last few hours of voting. The 2 was obviously a last minute vote.
It wasn't a real person in the water. It was a sculpture of sorts so it wasn't going anywhere. Maybe a different angle would have worked better. |
