Looks like it's just you and me that like it...more then 90 views but no-one else has responded. I left DP a while ago but decided to come give it another try but so far I have noticed that the whole positive vibe from earlier years is gone with people only entering challenges but hardly participating in the forums anymore and hardly doing any commenting on the challenge entries. Only one of my entries entered so far has received any comment at all (2 comments during voting). I see that this is not only in my case but is the same for everyone. Even the top 3 entries in most of the challenges only get 2 or 3 comments during voting these day I notice. From my side I have been commenting on as many entries as possible since i came back and I can't see any excuse for people not commenting as there are mostly only about 20 to 30 entries in most challenges these days as opposed to 300 plus entries in the far gone past. Quite disappointing to say the least.

The reason I rarely comment is due to lack of self-confidence, not disinterest. |

Commenting is a very good way to learn how to see. It's also risky. One of my first comments elicited an extraordinary barrage of abuse... Ah, but those were the days...
Gina, you might want to check out posthumous's tutorial on commenting; in fact I should reread it myself.
It seems strange that the appreciation of visual media is, for many, connected to verbal articulation.
I care more for a comment than a score. |

| ironically I didn't comment because I liked the description but found the title didn't match the description, and I didn't want to be negative |
