This was one I considered as I personally loved the feathers as little capri pants; however, the curves on the wings in flight on the one I entered really fit the challenge more. Personally though, I liked this one from a humor standpoint.

Both are great shots, but the drama in your entry is exceptional. Nicely done.

Thank you - it was one of my first successful in flight bird photos and oddly right out my front door.

i agree with Mark .. especially his word 'exceptional' ..
your entry is one i'll probably remember always . !! . :)

this is what i entered .. was a respectable 7th .. which i was very happy with considering the amazing images that were entered ..


i did consider this though .. only because it was such a great moment .. and i loved that i caught the reflection ..
however areas of the bird are oof ..


i'd be interested to know which one other people preferred ..

Thank you Roz, very nice compliment. I know people don’t always see the world the way I do and the capri pants vision would have been another example of that. LOL I was a bit fearful people would be turned off the decomposing dinner in its grasp, glad I was wrong.

I absolutely think you chose best with the color. I was surprised at the finish of that one as I think it fit the challenge perfectly. Reminded me of a Skittles (an American candy) commercial. Rainbow of fruit flavors!
