Sorry about the late post I have been out of town.
anyways this was my Time Passing shot
I had quite a few comments saying they didnt see how it fit the challenge, then others saw it just fine...just wanted to clear it up
here is another shot of the dog. it is a dog that gets out down the street, its hair is matted and gross and has probably never been clipped, covered in dirt.
I thought its been a long time since the dog had a hair cut or was even cared about for that matter...so thats where i got the idea for using it for the challenge
here is a picture of the dog that runs with it that is even worse. (see how long it takes you to find its face)
i was going to call Animal control to get the dogs (because i was told i coulnt keep them) but when i was taking a picture of them an old lady came over and said i know who they belong to, and that she would tell them that they need to be clipped
even though my shot did poorly it is my first challenge submission that has been picked as a favorite and twice at that...so i am happy with the outcome |

Nice photo!
I think this photo didn't score higher because of the challenge guidelines themselves. If the photo was being judged on its own merits it would likely have done much better.
I think the photo has been perfectly framed as well...very nice!

i don't vote in member challenges, of course, but i did pick this picture as one of my favorites, i found it incredibly moving, and the title was very fitting as well... |
