| How about the "OUT AND ABOUT" forum require that the subject line show the area of where one is looking for company when out and about.. otherwise it seems like another forum to post your images.. Just a newbie's two cents worth... |

Paul,
I could not agree with you more.
For example, let's take the title of a couple "Out and about" forum posts by David Sidwell that are not well formed.
One is titled, "Here I am in AZ with nothing to do!". I mean, it is a big state, he could be most anywhere!
Another example of his is this one, "Desert Images". Again, where could this possibly be? There are deserts all over the world!
I think Sidwell tries to be intentionally vague to elude groupies.
OK, now take my post on the other hand, "A few hours with David Sidwell...". It is a perfect example of a well defined location for an "out and about" forum post. I was with David! What location could be more clearly stated?
I rest my case. :)

You will soon learn that many many threads are excuses to post your own images.
...and the next person to post will probably do just that... |

It's funny...there are so many threads which start as: "Post your favourite whatever photo here" and the first few are usually excellent examples of the whatever type of photo.
It doesn't take too long for people just to start posting their own photos, though! |
