Sometime in one of the e-mail lists I use to be in we played a little game with macros. I thought we could try it here just for fun. Post a macro shot and everyone try to guess what it is. Here is one.

Should we guess here in the forum or in the photo's comments section?
(And seaweed is my guess, too. Though it does look a bit like an embroidered kimono under water...)

I guess posting in the comments would be better that way we can just use this forum for just posting the photos. BTW it is not seaweed or the inside of a cell phone.

Not ice cream or anything frozen. Nothing to do with water. Another hint. If you are Chinese you should know this object.

We have a winner! Yes that is what it is well, It is called "1000 year egg" to non Chinese people. To the Chinese it is just called "Preserved Duck Eggs" Or "Peedan" (rough English translation) Here is an uncroped version of the egg
Ok whos next? I'm sure some one has something like this they would like to post.
